Volunteers visit Syrian refugees in the Atmeh Camp, Syria, living in very difficult conditions to feed 8.000 people.

Text donations
It is now even easier to donate to your favourite cause. We have set up a mobile phone texting method of giving donations using JustTextGiving by Vodafone.
All you do is save this special texting phone number (70070) into your phones contacts list or just type it into the text messaging (SMS) option on your mobile phone. Then type the 6 figure message code along with the donation amount and ‘send’ this message to 70070. Your donation will appear on your next phone bill and Caravan of Mercy will be paid on your behalf.
We have a different 6 figure message code for each appeal. All text donations are Lillah only. If you wish to use Zakaat or Sadaqah etc. you should use other payment methods (ie. online, phone or in person)

Molana Ebrahim in Gambia November/ December
The Chairman of Caravan Of Mercy travelled through Gambia for two weeks in Novemver/ December 2012. He started at our Gambia Head-Quarters in Brikama. From there he travelled by road to over-see the Caravan Of Mercy Madressah school in a village in Medina Manneh. From there he visited another Caravan Of Mercy Madressah school in Kuntaur.
His route was 160m miles. Click here to see route on map.
Madina Manneh primary school and madressa teaches 300 apprx boys and girls. Building was completed in 2008.
The van was donated in 2009 from the UK and sent to Gambia filled with computers. Alhamdulillah it is still being used in the Gambia today.

Caravan of Mercy run numerous projects in Bangladesh, such as building water wells, running of schools/Makaatib, orphan sponsor, and self supporting projects. Most of our projects are carried out in the deprived districts – Sunamgunj, Sirajgunj, Kurigram and Dinajpur.

Ghana Appeal
Quran Project for Ghana:
We have printed 20,000 Qurans for Ghana. ‘Interpretation of the meanings of the Noble Quran’ contain both Arabic as well as English text. The translation is by Dr. Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din Al Hilali and Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan. It features explainations from Sahih Al Bukhari. The front and back covers are being printed now in India and almost ready for dispatch.
Each book cost £3.00 (cost covers transport, printing and distribution). Inshallah this consignment will be delivered to Tema, Accra (location of our Ghana office) in February 2013 and from there the Qurans will be delivered to different locations throughout Ghana.
The cost of this project have been met but we still need funds for future Quran distribution.
As part of this consignment, we plan to include Islamic Dawah literature as well as French tranlated Qurans for neighbouring countries. After visiting Ghana recently, Maulana Ebrahim saw first hand how much the locals are crying out for knowledge. Please donate English books and literature for dawah.
