Masjid construction in West Bengal
A dedicated place to share our faith and worship Allah is extremely important, but Muslim communities in West Bengal do not always have a local mosque. The Mosque is the heart of any Muslim community as it provides a place of worship and also a place of education.
When the Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) migrated from Makkah to Madinah one of the first things carried out was to construct a mosque.
The Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) said:
‘Whosoever builds a house (masjid) for the pleasure of Allah, whether it be small or large, Allah builds for him a house in Paradise.’ [Tirmidhi]
Caravan of Mercy constructs new mosques and also renovates old mosques to serve communities in West Bengal. You can donate the entire cost of a masjid or part of the cost.
