Old Clothes, New Lives
Ibn Abbas related that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said:
“Any Muslim who gives a Muslim a garment to wear will be in Allah’s safekeeping as long as a shred of it remains on him.”
Many people around the world lack sufficient clothing to cover and protect themselves from the weather in the winter months and cannot afford to buy clothes.
Caravan of Mercy accepts you’re used and new clothes (clean). Caravan of Mercy doesn’t recycle your clothes, rather they are sorted, baled, and containers filled with clothing are shipped to a number of different countries directly benefiting the poor and needy.
Clothes are distributed amongst the poor free of charge.
Over the years we have distributed clothes in following countries: Syria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, The Gambia, Senegal, Liberia, and Bangladesh
The clothes you donate will not be sold or recycled, instead we sort them and ship them directly for distribution to those who need it most.
For us to effectively carry out the clothing distribution project we request donors to contribute a sum of £5.00 per bag. This donation will be used towards storage, sorting, shipping and distribution costs.
With your assistance we aim to extend this project to other countries.
